Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent.
The recommended minimum age for this qualification is 16 years and above.
Course Details
The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance.
Where indicated in the unit specifications, assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles.
All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a Pass – there is no grading.

Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as:
- Level 3 Award in ICT in Early Years (RQF)
- Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s Workforce (Early Years Educator) (RQF)
